Primitive, non-electrified cabin in the White Mountains National Recreation Area, interior Alaska (United States). Known as "the most remote cabin" in the network, ideal for winter recreation, rustic lodging, and wildlife/nature viewing. Maximum capacity of 6 people (comfortable for 4). Basic amenities: stove/fireplace; no indoor plumbing and no cell coverage. Pets and fires allowed. Check-in and check-out at 12 pm. Main season is winter (snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing); ATVs prohibited from May 1 to October 14. Access via the Wickersham Dome Trailhead (from the Steese and Elliott Highways) or the Colorado Creek Trailhead (Elliott Highway, mile 57). Reservation required via recreation.gov.
