Platanar in the La Libertad region, in the Otuzco/Trujillo area (northern Peru), at 1302 m altitude, on the western foothills of the Andean range. Part of the continuous Peru cluster (batches 231-273). COUNTRY ANOMALY: Peru missing. A hospedaje or finca (banana grove, "platanar") on the Chan Chan heritage circuits (UNESCO 1986, Chimú capital, the largest pre-Hispanic adobe city). Equatorial dry forest zone.
