The place

Extremely comfortable unstaffed cabin at 1448 m in the Chablais/Mont-Blanc sector (Haute-Savoie), maintained by local hunters. Capacity of 4 places on mattresses, table, stove, utensils available on site. Another cabin called "les Péchots" is on the path about 30 minutes before, also well maintained. Access from Servoz is a bit vertiginous, above the Gorges de la Diosaz. Free access, but strict respect for the volunteer-maintained premises is required.
