Crowberry Cabin
The place
Primitive cabin with no electricity in the White Mountains National Recreation Area, interior Alaska (United States). Rustic lodging for a wilderness experience within a 250 km network of groomed winter trails linking twelve cabins. Sleeps eight. Amenities: wood stove, outdoor fire pit permitted. No running water, no indoor plumbing, no cell coverage. Pets allowed. Check-in and check-out at noon, reservation required. Summer ATV access May to mid-October, mainly used in winter by snowmobile, snowshoe or cross-country ski. Two routes: from the Elliott Highway via the Wickersham Dome Trailhead (26 miles) or from the Steese Highway via the McKay Creek Trailhead (27 miles).
