Colorado Creek Cabin
The place
Primitive cabin located in the White Mountains National Recreation Area, interior Alaska (United States). Rustic accommodation for a wilderness experience, used mainly in winter; in summer access is extremely muddy and difficult. Capacity for eight people, equipped with a wood stove, sleeping platforms, table, and cooking area. No running water, no electricity, no cell coverage. Pets and fires allowed. Access from the Colorado Creek trailhead at mile 57 of the Elliott Highway, then 14 miles along the Colorado Creek Trail. Check-in and check-out at 12 pm, reservation required via recreation.gov.
