Cabane du Trapech d'en haut: Harmony with Nature The Cabane du Trapech d'en haut is a refuge set deep in nature, at an altitude of 1728 meters. Restored in 2012 through the initiative of the Amis du Parc ariégeois, it retains its old-time charm. Although not enlarged, this open cabin can serve as a storage spot and offer emergency shelter if needed, even though it lies off the main trail. Water resources Water can be found near the cabin, thanks to two springs reachable within a few minutes toward the Cabane de Trinqué in the Ribérot valley. Availability and booking The Cabane du Trapech d'en haut is open year-round and requires no advance booking.
