The place
The Cabane du Col de La Terme is a recent cabin at 2020 m elevation in the Couserans massif (Ariège Pyrenees), just below the Col de La Terme on its north side, on a rocky promontory on the GRP Tour du Cagire-Burat. It is 45 minutes from the GR10, climbing up from the Cabane d'Uls. Access and the path are not obvious. Indoor equipment: fireplace, table with 2 benches, 2 wooden beds with foam mattresses. A ferruginous spring is found on the opposite slope, marked by a small concrete slab reading 'drinking water' and a small catchment pipe.

On the GRP Tour du Cagire-Burat, 45 min from the GR10 climbing up from the Cabane d'Uls. Approach path not very obvious.
