Cabane de Tousaus

The place

Small unstaffed cabin at 1835 m in the Bigorre area of the Pyrenees (Hautes-Pyrénées), accessible via the GR 10 from Gavarnie. Restored around 2009. The interior space is taken up by removable tables and benches allowing sleeping inside (2 places maximum). Two springs right next to it, firewood available nearby, but no heating. Camping possible around the cabin. Access in 50 minutes' climb from the paid car park at Granges de la Holle (D923) via the GR 10.
