Indoor Equipment 1 table with a nice oilcloth cover Several benches 1 large fireplace Upstairs: floor in very good condition with 3 mattresses and 2 sleeping mats, able to accommodate more mattresses. Water Supply Water can be obtained at the Refuge de l'Etang d'Araing, located 600m from the cabin. Following the GR10 as it climbs SE, you'll find a trickle from a marshy area, located behind the cabin, near the Etang d'Araing dam. Environment The Cabane de l'Etang d'Araing is located on the GR10, near the Etang d'Araing dam. Its location offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. Reservation and Availability The cabin is open year-round and doesn't require advance booking. However, it's advisable to check availability during busy periods. Important Note It's important to respect the site and leave it clean for the comfort of all visitors. Access and Route To reach the Cabane de l'Etang d'Araing, simply follow the marked GR10 trail heading SE, behind the rain gauge. The shelter is located 500m from the Refuge de l'Etang d'Araing (Jacques Husson).
