Cabane de Cornudère

The place

Small hut at 1490 m west of the Pic de Cournudère, on the edge of the Trou de l'Église (Couserans, Ariège), also called Cournudère. Capacity about 4 people, magnificent panorama, sleeping loft upstairs. No water; a water intake with a "non-drinking water" sign next to the door. Plenty of firewood nearby. Access from the Col de Portet-d'Aspet via a long forest track heading northeast, then a marked trail heading northwest through the forest.
