Cabane d'Ossoue

The place

Small concrete block at 1840 m at the Ossoue dam (Bigorre, Hautes-Pyrénées), along the GR10 / Trans'Pyr. One door, one broken window. The lake is right next to it. In summer, the hut sits at the edge of the Ossoue dam car park, reachable by car. From Gavarnie, take the D128 to its end, 9 km from Gavarnie including 5 km paved then 4 km of good track. Should be able to provide shelter from a storm.
