The place
Very small unguarded hut located at 1,600 m altitude in the Couserans (Ariège), 20 m from a marked trail. Made up of two rooms: a small one (2.5×2 m) with a sleeping platform and mattress; a larger one with a fireplace, bed frame, and mattress (2 places). Stream 20 m away, firewood 150 m away but scarce. Hut not very visible in the landscape, difficult winter access due to an avalanche corridor.

From the Pla de Lau via the GR10 heading east, 2h (700 m elevation gain). Hut 20 m to the left of the trail.
