Stone-slab shelter at 1973 m in the Réserve naturelle des Aiguilles Rouges, below the Tête du Grand Chantet, near Argentière (Chamonix, Haute-Savoie). Panoramic views over the Aiguilles Rouges and the Mont-Blanc massif. A classic destination for the Péclerey hike. 2024 bivouac regulations in the Aiguilles Rouges: online reservation required for any overnight stay from June to September. Unguarded hut, free access during the day.
