The place
Alpine-pasture shelter at 2140 m in the Réserve naturelle de Sixt-Passy (Haute-Savoie, Anterne sector). Designed for the exclusive use of local shepherds during the summer grazing season — currently closed to the public and not usable as a shelter. Not to be confused with the Refuge Alfred Wills (staffed) at 1810 m on the Anterne pasture, which is open to hikers.
