The place

Yurt managed by the YMCA of Northern Utah at Camp Mill Hollow, nestled in the Uinta Mountains (Utah, United States), at approximately 2,739 metres altitude, under special use permit from the Heber-Kamas Ranger District (Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest). Capacity of 8 to 12 people depending on configuration. Panoramic view of the Wasatch range. Portable toilets nearby, no electricity or cell coverage. Access from the parking area about six miles away on a snow-covered track: snowshoes, skis or snowmobile, gear carried by sled or backpack. Rental available from mid-August after the summer season through September, at USD 100/night; yurts unavailable on Tuesday nights for restocking. Contact 801-466-6299.
