The place

ACC hut at 2,682 m on the Wapta Traverse, in Yoho National Park (British Columbia, Canada), just past the Alberta-BC border. The usual last stop on the Wapta Icefield traverse. Capacity 12 spots (summer and winter). Built in 1988 by the family and the Alpine Club of Canada in memory of Scott Duncan, a 25-year-old mountaineer who died of rabies in 1985. Completes the Wapta hut system (the last hut built on the Wapta Icefields). Booking via the Alpine Club of Canada.
