Intermediate station at 2174 m on the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car between Courmayeur (Pontal d'Entrèves) and Punta Helbronner (3466 m, the foot of Mont Blanc on the Italian side, Aosta Valley). Not a classic bivouac refuge: Mountain Bar for sandwiches, Ristorante Alpino for dining, Saussurea botanical garden to visit. Accessible by cable car or on foot from Courmayeur / Entrèves. 3.7 km route to the Rifugio Torino Vecchio.
