Rifugio Grand Tournalin

The place

Capacity: 45 -Running water -Showers -Staffed period 15/06 - 15/09. Note: no winter room. Refuge built in 1994, between the Petit and Grand Tournalin. Panoramic in style and accessible by 4x4 via an alpine pasture road, as shown in this photo... Also used for family meals in the open air, etc. Never set foot there myself. There are lovely hikes to be had in the area, that's for sure, but one can understand that the label "refuge" could give rise to endless verbal jousting. Those who go can tell us.
