The place

Capacity: 30 places, 14 in the winter room. Staffed from late June to early September. Never having gone up there myself, I only know the first part of the route, which coincides with the access to [->1595]. If you drive up the upper Valpelline, you need to pass Bionaz and go up to La Léchère, where the Place Moulin dam (P) is located. From there a gravel road runs alongside the lake, crosses the Oren stream, and reaches Prarayer. Waymarking has been put in place leading through the long combe of Tza-de-Tzan up to the hut. From the dam to the hut, allow 4 hours. If you take the bus (SAVDA) Aosta-Bionaz (bus station opposite the railway station), you'll need to add the 6 km between Bionaz and La Léchère, bringing the total to around 6-7 hours — unless you travel in flip-flops wearing just a cap...
