Refugio de Bramatuero

The place

Free-access unstaffed hut at 2519 m in the Aragonese Pyrenees, near Panticosa (Huesca, Alto Gállego). Basic overnight space with no beds or conventional furniture, on two floors with very simple furnishings, capacity of around ten people depending on the source. No kitchen equipment — bring portable gear. Access from Baños de Panticosa via the GR 11 to the west edge of the Embalse de Bachimaña-Alto, then a trail heading east to the Ibón de Bramatuero Bajo, and up to the hut.
