The place

Communal Refuge des Gardes at 500 m, on the ridge about 2 km east of the Pas-de-l'Ouiller, in the commune of Roquefort-la-Bédoule (Calanques massif, Bouches-du-Rhône). Capacity 6 beds, basic facilities with no water. Access from the Pas d'Ouiller car park via the DFCI track, about 5 km and 200 m elevation gain, a 1-hour walk.
