The place

Mountain Huts in Japan Suisho Hut (水晶小屋) is a hut located on the south shoulder of Mount Suisho in the central part of the Northern Alps, at an elevation of 2,900 meters. It is one of the smallest staffed huts in the Northern Alps. The Ura Ginza trekking trail and the newer Yomiuri trail meet near this hut. It opened in 1933. Hut Technical Data ※ 2019 Season Capacity: 30 people. Opening period: From mid-July to September 30. Rates: - Night with dinner and breakfast: 11,200 yen. - Room only: 7,200 yen. Water Supply: No water point available. 500 ml bottled water sold at 300 yen. Filtered water sold exclusively to guests, limited to 500 ml, at 100 yen (1 liter maximum for hikers on the Yomiuri trail or the Takemura trail).
