Poland Lake Hut in E.C. Manning Provincial Park, Sunshine Valley/Hope sector (Canadian Cascades, British Columbia, Canada), at 1,747 m elevation, on the Poland Lake Trail (12 km return). Continuous Canada BC cluster (batches 200-329). BC Parks day-use shelter on the shore of Poland Lake (named after a Polish settler, 1900s), an area of subalpine fir Abies lasiocarpa and mountain hemlock Tsuga mertensiana with views of Mount Frosty 2,408 m (the park's highest point), heritage of the Nlaka'pamux (Salish people, first encountered by European explorer Simon Fraser in 1808).
