The place
A hut in the Vanoise National Park located in the municipality of Termignon (Val-Cenis), at 2385 m, open from 5 June to 30 September for the staffed season. Accessible in winter as an unstaffed shelter with 20 winter beds, a wood stove and a heating-fuel supply. Full facilities: shower, hotplate, sanitary facilities, emergency radio. Staffed by Juliette Lefort and Guilhem Artières. 2026 special feature: a total solar eclipse visible from the terrace on 12 August, with free activities from the National Park. Getting there
Départ du parking de Bellecombe (voiture, stationnement payant selon saison, ou bus gratuit depuis Val Cenis Termignon), puis environ 30 minutes de marche jusqu'au refuge. Autres accès depuis Bellecombe via la piste revêtue (VTT, à cheval, avec âne de bât).
The setting
Le refuge offre un panorama sur les glaciers de la Vanoise et les sommets de la Dent Parrachée et de la Grande Casse, point de départ du Tour de la Vanoise. Faune alpine : gypaète barbu, chamois, bouquetins et marmottes. Alpages (Entre-deux-Eaux) et petits lacs d'altitude.
