Basic 6-bunk hunters' hut at 11 m in Rakiura National Park (Stewart Island, Southland, NZ), managed by the Rakiura Hunter Camp Trust. No DOC track: self-sufficient navigation with map/compass/GPS required. Multi-fuel stoves, rainwater tank (1,000 L), mattresses, benches, meat safe, toilets. No cooking equipment provided — bring your own. Flat rate NZ$30/person, maximum 10 days. Untreated water must be boiled (rats present on the island). Booking required via the Rakiura National Park Visitor Centre. Built in 2001 by members of the Central Otago Deerstalkers Club.
