The place
An unstaffed emergency shelter located at 2305 m of altitude in the Cerces massif, in Savoie. Its triangular structure, with one side open to the wind, gave it its name ("the wind triangle"). Built as a makeshift shelter, it has no facilities: no water nearby, no toilets, no heating. The floor is bare earth, and two people can shelter there in case of need.
