The place

Backcountry hut built in 1988 on the east ridge of Mt. Joffre, near treeline at 1,650 m, in the Nlhaxten / Cerise Creek Wilderness Conservancy (near Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada). Designed for 14 people on the mezzanine (10 comfortably in practice). Winter access via Cerise Creek (not Phelix Creek). First come, first served, though online registration is encouraged to avoid overcrowding.
