The place

DOC hut located at 644 m in the Gamack Conservation Area, near Lake Pukaki (Canterbury, South Island). Access via a signposted 3 km track from Braemar Mount Cook Station Road, on the eastern shore of the lake, open to walkers and mountain bikers. The access route crosses private land at the start.
