The place

Restored former sheepfold at 675 m alongside a trail running parallel to the GR 98, in the Sainte-Baume massif (Bouches-du-Rhône). Free, unstaffed lodging in basic comfort. No door, but thick walls and a sound roof; a well in front of the building. Housed a flock from La Cadière until 1960, which used to move up to summer pastures in the Alps each spring. Unstaffed cabin.
