The place
KMC hut at 1,900 m, in a hollow below the col between North and South Grassy Mountain (Bonnington Range, British Columbia, Canada). Originally built in 1985 by the Kootenay Mountaineering Club, rebuilt in 2020. Sleeps 6 in a mezzanine (foam mattresses not provided). Table, benches, chairs, wood stove. 2-burner propane stove but bring your own 1-lb bottles. Dogs not allowed in the new hut; candles and lanterns also prohibited. Part of the Bonnington 4-hut circuit (Grassy, Steed, Copper, Lost).
