Frisby Ridge Cabin

The place

Day-use cabin of the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club located at 1688 m on Frisby Ridge, in the Monashee Mountains of British Columbia. The original cabin, held together by a cable running through eyelets fixed to the interior walls, could accommodate twelve people. Recently renovated: new 750 sq ft (70 m²) building with a 16-foot deck. Current capacity not precisely published, but well above the original. Serves as a day shelter for snowmobilers: breaks, lunch, shelter in bad weather. About 5,000 visitors per year. No formal overnight service. Access via the Frisby Ridge snowmobile routes.
