Standard-category DOC hut with sixteen bunks located at 7 m in Rakiura National Park on Stewart Island (Southland). Rate NZD 10 per adult per night, NZD 5 for ages 5-17, free below that, payable via standard tickets left on site or an annual Backcountry Hut Pass. No booking required. Untreated water, must be boiled before drinking: heavy rat presence on Stewart Island, possible source contamination.
