Basic 4-bunk DOC hut in Ruataniwha Conservation Park (Canterbury, NZ). Free access. Reached by a 32 km walk (11-12 h) up the Hopkins Valley from the Ram Hill car park, at the end of Lake Ohau Road. Remote alpine terrain, for self-sufficient hikers only.
