The place

USFS cabin in Flathead National Forest (Montana, USA), at 1,535 m, 51 miles east of Hungry Horse on US Highway 2, then 8 miles south on Skyland Road #569. Access via 8 miles of walking, snowshoeing or snowmobiling from the end of the road. Sleeps 5 (bunk bed + small loft). Propane stove, lighting, wood stove, firewood provided, pit toilet. Bring drinking water and bedding. Available 1 December to 31 March, max 3 consecutive nights and 7 nights/year. Booking via Recreation.gov.
