Chalet des Grands

The place

Mountain refuge at 2,113 m above the village of Trient (Valais, Switzerland), on the Swiss side of the Mont-Blanc massif. Rebuilt in 1987 on the ruins of former alpine-pasture chalets. Managed and maintained by the CAS Payerne subsection of the Swiss Alpine Club. Volunteer staffing from June to October.
