The place
Mountain refuge at 2,113 m above the village of Trient (Valais, Switzerland), on the Swiss side of the Mont-Blanc massif. Rebuilt in 1987 on the ruins of former alpine-pasture chalets. Managed and maintained by the CAS Payerne subsection of the Swiss Alpine Club. Volunteer staffing from June to October.
Getting there
Le chalet se rejoint par deux voies : au départ du col de Balme (2 heures à 2h30 de marche), ou depuis le village de Trient (1h30 à 2 heures).

À 2113 m d'altitude, ce chalet se trouve dans le massif du Mont-Blanc, à l'intérieur du périmètre du parc naturel régional de la Vallée du Trient, en Valais (Suisse).
