Cabane du Pisset

The place

Cabin at 2150 m in the Queyras massif (Hautes-Alpes). Allows shelter from bad weather. No longer locked but used by the shepherd to store equipment. Floor space for two people lying down. No spring nearby, but the path crosses streams just before reaching the cabin. French access via the Pas du Pisset path. Italian access via the Colle Vecchio (very poor and exposed) from the Refuge Granero.
