The place

Unstaffed hut at 1937 m in Valais (Switzerland), above Leysin. Eventful history: first hut built in 1955 by a shepherd, destroyed by lightning, rebuilt in 1990 by a group from Leysin, mysteriously burned down in 2014, rebuilt in 2015 by a new group of friends from Leysin. Left in the good care of hikers. Stove, shelves, pots and a logbook. Outdoor fire pit with grills. 2 mattresses laid on beams under the roof. Plastic container for collecting rainwater.
