The place
Unstaffed hut located at 2113 m altitude in the Couserans (Ariège), near Mont Valier. Split into two: a closed shepherd section and a hiker section with 8-10 spots. Equipped with a first-aid post. Magnificent view of the Lauzets and Mont Valier.

Getting there
From Pla de la Lau via GR10 to the Cap des Lauses, then southeast; about 100 m after the Cabane du Taus, path on the left. Or from the Refuge des Estagnous via the Col de Pécouch and the Étang de Milouga heading north.
