Cabane de Pouey Caut

The place

Small unguarded pastoral hut in the Pyrenees, set on a grassy shelf overlooking the valley. A single room with a wooden bed base and a fireplace, free access outside the summer grazing period. Serves as shelter for hikers on the area's trails. No supplies or staffing; bring all self-sufficient bivouac gear. Generally reported to be in decent condition by visitors.
