Unguarded pastoral hut in the Pyrenees, open to hikers outside the period when shepherds occupy it. One-room stone shelter, spartan equipment; mainly serves as an emergency refuge. Spring or stream often nearby. Bring full bivouac gear. Located on mid- to high-mountain routes in the area.
