Cabane de Morteville

The place

Cabin at 840 m in the Hautes-Vosges. Access from Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle via the D465 toward the Ballon d'Alsace: pass near the Plain du Canon forest house then continue via the "chemin des Paltons." One route follows the "sentier des roches" (dangerous with a lot of snow). Simple refuge serving as a stop for hikers.
