The place

Cabin at 1640 m in the Préalpes de Digne (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), accessible from Le Labouret via a forest track towards the Blayeul — the cabin is near a hairpin bend. Table, benches, wood stove replaced since the 1980s, some kitchen utensils, a single mattress. Magnificent view with the Tête de l'Estrop as the dominant peak. Possibly occupied by a shepherd during the summer grazing season.
