Cabane de l 'Inca (ou cabanon du Sanglier)

The place

Former small lock-keeper's cabin on the banks of the Verdon in the Basses Gorges, along the old Verdon canal, at 370 m. The area is classified as a NATURA 2000 zone. Since October 2018, an inter-prefectural order has banned mooring and bivouacking in the Basses Gorges to protect the habitat, and access to the path leading to the cabin is also restricted for protection and safety reasons. Should be considered a visible but non-viable heritage point rather than a stopover.
