The place

Mountain Cabin: A Refuge in the Heart of Nature The Mountain Cabin offers 3 sleeping spots, with indoor equipment including a small table, 2 chairs, a stone bench, a fireplace, a wide mattress and an old sofa. Water is supplied by a captured spring feeding a trough for livestock above the refuge, as well as freely at the bottom of the ravine south of the cabin. Access and Location From Portet de Luchon: Follow the track heading North, then take the right path toward the Port de Pinate. After a short steep stretch out of the ravine, the cabin is reached (with water available). From Jurvielle: Take the track climbing North up to the cabin. The cabin is open, with a section reserved for hikers on the left. Availability and Booking The Mountain Cabin is open all year round. Bookings are made online.
