Cabane de Chalufy

The place

Hut used by a shepherd during the summer grazing season, at 1857 m in the Préalpes de Haute-Provence (alpages de Boules and de Chalufy). Contains a stove, a double bed, two single beds, a loft with many mattresses, and firewood brought in by helicopter in summer. All items belong to the shepherd; please respect the equipment provided. Pipe connected to a spring right below the hut. When the shepherd is absent, the key hangs above the door, allowing hikers to access the hut year-round.
