Shepherd's hut unoccupied as of late July 2019; generally good condition but cluttered with livestock equipment; a bed frame propped against the wall, table, bench, gas stove... From Blieux, take the RD21 to Le Bas Chaudoul, then the PR trail towards Mont Chiran. When the path passes below the Crête de Ruth (north-south orientation), leave the path and descend 50 m of elevation heading east.
