The place
Unstaffed pastoral hut located at 2,120 m in the Luchonnais massif, in Haute-Garonne. Small hut in good condition with a working fireplace and firewood available about 100 m away. Discreet water source above the hut (small rubber pipe). Occupied sporadically by a shepherd until early September, then by hunters and hikers. Splendid view over the Val d'Astau.

Getting there
From the Espingo refuge (1,967 m), accessible from the Lac d'Oô or via the Hourquette des Hounts Secs. Follow the Lac d'Espingo north, cross the bridge, then climb onto the ridge overlooking the Val d'Arrouge.
