The place
Small metal bivouac at 2437 m on a ridge separating the upper Fremamorta lake and the Pian della Casa, at the head of the Valletta valley (Italian Alpi Marittime, Gesso valley). Panoramic viewpoint over the west face of the Argentera massif. Small prefabricated metal barrel-shaped structure, inaugurated on 19 July 1976, owned by the Ligurian section of the CAI.
