The place
Beautiful sheepfold used in summer and closed the rest of the year. Not accessible to hikers. However, there is a shelter on the west side of the sheepfold, visible in the photos. A water well in the middle of the Darbounouse meadow for the shepherd's use. Located in the large, south-facing Darbounouse meadow, on the GR91...!
Getting there
Beautiful sheepfold used in summer and closed the rest of the year. Not accessible to hikers. A free shelter on the west side of the sheepfold (visible in the photos) provides an emergency shelter.
The setting
Large, south-facing Darbounouse meadow, on the GR91 (Vercors massif, Drôme/Isère, 44.97°N 5.48°E, 1295 m). Water well in the middle of the meadow for the shepherd's use.
