The place

Backcountry cabin of the Colorado Mountain Club's Boulder Group, **built in 1969** on the north slope of Guinn Mountain, at 3,353 m elevation (11,000 ft), in the Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest (Colorado, USA). Sleeps 8 on sleeping platforms and benches with foam mattresses. Single room heated by a pot-belly stove, with an open loft above (4 beds in the loft, 4 on the benches). Amenities: wood stove, solar lighting, nearby outdoor toilet. Unstaffed, first-come-first-served use with a reservation calendar available.
